The prestigious, yet affordable Hayward Golf Club is located in the heart of the resort community of Hayward, Wisconsin. The challenging, yet fair "Pace Aware" facility first opened for play in 1924 and the course was architecturally redesigned in 1998 by Ken Killain. The current layout has 4 tee locations, 10 doglegs, 4 well-placed water hazards and 52 grass or sand bunkers on 168 beautifully manicured acres.
Newly added in 2010 is the PGA family course (there are only 6 such courses in the State of Wisconsin), which is designed with the family in mind. Special rates are offered for family golf after 5:00 p.m. each day (4:00 p.m. on Sunday). Parents are encouraged to golf with their children. Markers are placed in the fairways indicating tee boxes for the youth.
